How You Can Help

What has been accomplished thus far would not have been possible without the generous continued support of our friends.

Given the opportunity, people with developmental disabilities can and do become meaningful, productive members of their community.

Founded in 1952 and incorporated in 1962, TARC has been and continues to be a driving force in Terrebonne Parish and beyond. TARC is dedicated to motivating, engaging and fostering the creativity, ability and worth of the individuals it serves and, at the same time, connects them to their community. TARC continues to maintain an environment of meaningful programs, leading to a high quality of life, and maintaining a culture that encourages people to grow. It is truly a thriving community where all levels of life come together.

You can help us continue creating opportunities by your continued support in these areas and beyond:

• Become a Member and Add to Our Voice!

• Visit Us! Call Today for a Tour of TARC.

• Employ Our Workers at Your Business through Community Employment and Supported Employment Programs.

• Make a Gift or Donation to TARC

While TARC is subsidized by government funding, as a 501c(3) non-profit organization, we rely on individual and corporate contributions to ensure we are able to provide the highest quality residential, vocational, and social/recreational programs for the people we serve.

Make a Gift of Time…Volunteer

Volunteering to serve TARC as an event volunteer or Board Member is highly encouraged and a welcomed opportunity. Download our Volunteer Application to participate in TARC’s volunteer program.
