3)       1 mechanic truck used for roadside recovery.

TRANSPORTATION ROUTES

TARC operates 10 routes, including other services, throughout the day to accommodate job needs for our TARC Enterprises. These routes run the entire parish, including all the rural areas. TARC Community Homes utilizes their van transportation.

During 2019-2020, TARC transported 44,640 individuals for a monthly average of 3,720. Additionally, last year, the mileage on our vehicles was 185,634, averaging 15,470 per month. (Note: Due to COVID-19, the numbers reflect an average service of 240 days.)

TRANSPORTATION SAFETY

TARC’s vehicles are 35% ADA compliant, which includes wheelchair lifts, tie downs, and passenger safety belts. TARC is continuing to improve this service daily.
