SUMMARY:  This work involves transporting correspondence and picking up items necessary in the daily operations of various businesses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivery of services and products, as needed. This includes daily correspondence delivery and salvage transportation for community businesses.
  • Maintain a realistic work environment with special emphasis on proper safety procedures and work site policies.
  • Ensure Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of products used in the completion of job site demands are acquired and that sheets are read and understood by self.
  • Conduct inventory inspections of quality and quantity of equipment and products.
  • Complete work orders along with immediate notification to supervisors concerning equipment that does not work or works improperly.
  • Order all materials and supplies following the purchasing policies to fulfill needs.
  • Follow all TARC’s policies and procedures.  Perform any other job duties as assigned.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:  Current Driver’s License, CPR, First Aid and any other Agency/Client training deemed necessary by Department Director and/or Quality Assurance Staff.
