SUMMARY

This work involves the teaching, training, guiding and supervision of adult clients working in the community sites and TARC Enterprises.

This position will primarily be working with the employer (non-TARC).  This position will be assigned more than one individual and schedules may change daily, including nights, evenings, weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Provide supervision, training and direct care as requested and/or needed to individuals assigned.
  • Organize, formulate and implement on site job training to address daily living, social interactions, communications, health/hygiene, safety, team work, vocational skills and provide hands-on-training to individuals.
  • Conducts, develops and participates in assessment procedures for determining individual needs.
  • Assist in developing an individual service plan (ISP) and schedules to include implementation on community job sites including specific skill training and adjustment to the work environment within appropriate timelines.
