Personal and Social Services

The Day Habilitation program, now known as Options Plus, provides people living with intellectual and other developmental disabilities prevocational training in the areas of social, daily living and fine motor skills training. The goal of each Direct Support Professional is to develop and implement meaningful activities that enhance the lives of each individual.

After individuals are evaluated and assessed for developmental needs. TARC staff helps provide the men and women with an individualized plan to help maintain and improve daily living, communication, personal safety, and wellness. These individualized plans are designed to help our individuals develop, function, and enjoy life in their community.

In addition to an individualized plan, our staff provides each individual with a number of their activities which incorporate skills learned at TARC and place them in practical usage in the community.

Options Plus services include:

  • Music: Singing, Dancing, Fun Drumming
  • Daily Exercise
  • Sensory Stimulation
  • Gardening
  • Community Volunteering
  • Bowling
  • Swamp Tours
  • Arts & Crafts Projects
