As a Delivery Driver/Direct Support Worker at Houma Grown, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coworking with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Delivering products to New Orleans and local supermarkets with the people we serve.
  • Must be able to inventory products, load and unload the delivery van, and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Teaching job skills to coworkers.
  • Completing required paperwork on client plans
  • Multitasking business and program needs
  • Being a Houma Grown liaison between the store and HG management
  • Able to work varied hours to accommodate the manufacture and distribution of products.
